Origami Earrings

I love miniature things, and to help develop my hands, coordination and my folding abilities i started practicing smaller and smaller origami. The smallest cranes I’ve been able to do so far where started with a 9mm, 7mm, and 5mm squares of origami paper. I have a few different sizes of paper I work with depending on the final product I am aiming for. The origami in glass bottles tend to be my smallest. The t-rex earrings are the largest.

Paper jewelry is delicate and prone to unfolding in humidity. So I dip or air brushed  all my pieces in lacquer with lacquer to give them a protective coating. This gives them some rigidity as well as some protection for water resistance

I have sensitive skin so I use surgical steel for the earring posts and loops, stainless for the rest of the findings. I do work with other metals like gold, silver, Let me know if you would prefer a different metal. I also can do a wide range of colors and patterns. If you would like to customize an of my earrings, please feel free to ask.
