Eggs

We keep a small flock of hens, click below to meet the girls. Our eggs come in a range of colors depending on the lady who laid them. A fun fact: you can actually tell what color eggs a chicken will lay by looking at the color of her earlobes.

Our eggs are sold unwashed. The natural coating on an unwashed egg keeps it fresh longer, so leave them as-is until you’re ready to use them. On the counter they’ll keep for about two weeks, and in the fridge they’ll last up to two months. We sell by the dozen for $5 or 18 eggs for $7. An egg stand is in the works, but for now the best way to get some is to get in touch directly. Browse the posts below for updates, egg facts, and the occasional story about the hens who made them.
